Securities-based lending allows you to borrow money by using your securities, such as stocks, bonds, and exchange-traded funds, as collateral.

Amerant offers many different types of personal loans: New Vehicle Loans, Pre-owned Vehicle Loans, Unsecured Loans, Secured Loans, and Securities Secured Loans.

Eligibility: U.S. Citizens, Resident (Permanent) Aliens, Non-Resident (Temporary) Aliens, Applicants 18+ years of age.

Stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETF’s held in non-retirement accounts are acceptable forms of collateral.

Borrowing limits depend on the type and diversification of your portfolio, typically ranging from 50% to 95% of eligible asset value.

Once approved, funds are usually available for access within 1-3 business days.
