Experience

With 25 years of experience in the financial industry and three years with Amerant Investments, Baylor oversees top-of-the-house communication and asset strategy for Amerant Investments. Her day-to-day activities include client communication of macro views, RIA/broker training, and managing a team of investment professionals. Baylor acts as the portfolio manager for in-house discretionary portfolios for advisory clients, including mutual fund target allocation portfolios, and discretionary fixed income strategies across multiple mandates. Baylor is recognized expert in her field and a frequent contributor to Bloomberg news and television. She has two decades of experiencing, primarily in fixed income investing, in a variety of institutional, family office, and analytical roles. Baylor is on the Programming Committee for the Fixed Income Analysts Society (FIASI) and a member of 100 Women in Finance.  She graduated with an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and has her Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses.
